| About the Scales |
All of our scales are new and unused direct from the manufacturer (with the exception of open-box inventory items).
Every scale will come calibrated by the manufacturer, but most scales can be calibrated by one of our certified scale technicians for an additional cost. You will receive a signed certificate with details of the test performed. |

| Creating an Account |
If you plan on making a purchase with Scalesonline.com you will need to set-up an account. An email address is required so that you can receive tracking information for your order. Your information will not be sold or used for other marketing purposes.
Returning customers can sign in with their email address and password to bring up stored information. It is recommended that you verify shipping and billing information every time you sign in. |

| Common Ordering Problems |
There are no items in the cart:
Check that you have a model number selected in the drop down box labeled “Available Models.” Once you have the model selected, click “add to cart” and “checkout.”
There is no continue button on the page:
Make sure that you have filled out each section on the page. Ex: On the shipping page, it asks for your preferred shipping carrier. When you choose either UPS or USPS, another box will show up asking for the method. After you have chosen the method, scroll to the bottom of the page and the continue button will appear.
You get an AVS mismatch error:
This message tells us that the billing address that was entered is not the same as where the bill for the credit card is received. Click on the edit button to make changes. If you are unsure of the billing address, you will need to call your credit card company to get the exact address.

| Payment Options |
We accept credit via Visa, Discover, Mastercard, AmericanExpress and PayPal.
If your company would like to set up an account with us, you will need to fill out a credit application and fax it to us before placing your order. You can fax the application to 866-458-3068.

| Shipping Options |
You can choose to have your order shipped through either UPS or USPS (tracking information is not available for USPS shipment), however, an alternative shipping carrier may be used if necessary in order to get your package to you quickly. You can also call us toll free at 866-856-6100 with any special order information.
International orders are subject to an additional charge for shipping. Any customs, duties or brokerage fees assessed to the package for delivery once they enter said country are the responsibility of the buyer. We have no control over them and do not cover the charges. |

| Tracking an Order |
Tracking information will be emailed to you as soon as we receive the tracking number from the shipping carrier. You can also log into your account and click on “view order status and history.” |

| Printing an Invoice |
You can print your invoice at any time. Just log into you account and click on “view order status and history.” This will allow you to view any recent order you have placed with us. |

| Returning an Item |
We will be happy to exchange, refund, or credit any return as long as the scale is in the same condition as when it was received. This means you must have all the paperwork (manual, set up documents, and warranty cards), it must show no visible signs of use, and it must be in the original packaging. All returns must be made within 30 days of purchase.
Shipping charges are non-refundable and return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.

| Problems with an Order |
If your order is missing something or you receive the wrong product, call us immediately and let us know. Keep in mind that some products will ship directly from the manufacturer. Your products may have shipped from different locations, which will be indicated on the packing slip. You will not receive any additional shipping charges if this happens. |
